Tandem Pictures is the first conscious production company
and strategic creative agency, since 2010. Our work is seen everywhere
from theaters, and film festivals to CTV to digital and social. We often
develop first-time directors and writers as well
as international and underrepresented voices.

About Us

Tandem Pictures is currently prepping several narrative and documentary feature films, developing some scripts with writers, and we have shot many brand content projects. In the past two years, we produced an anthology feature film BUSHWICK BEATS, we premiered BLOOD STRIPE at the LA Film Festival, winning the top Jury Prize for Best Narrative Film, premiered GHOST TEAM (starring Jon Heder, David Krumholtz, Justin Long and Amy Sedaris) in theaters across the US and on Google Play, and produced Nick Pesce’s (dir: The Grudge) debut THE EYES OF MY MOTHER, which premiered to critical acclaim at Sundance and was released by Magnolia.

We also began a first-look production deal with top management and production company Circle of Confusion (Producers of AMC’s THE WALKING DEAD). With their support, Tandem is poised to make larger, and more wide-reaching films than ever before.

Tandem’s previous films include: DUKALE’S DREAM, a TV documentary exploring poverty solutions and Fair Trade for Ethiopian coffee farmers starring Hugh Jackman; WILDLIKE executive produced by Christine Vachon (Killer Films), a feature film shot on 35mm in the Alaskan wilderness released by Amplify in 2014; and THE SLEEPWALKER, which premiered at Sundance and was released by IFC in 2014.

Other highlights include: 8 short films directed by Baz Luhrmann for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2012; a series of promotional pieces for Netflix showcasing the making of Baz Luhrmann’s THE GET DOWN; a surprise event video celebrating Anna Wintour’s 25 years as editor-in-chief of Vogue, featuring appearances by Nicole Kidman, Hillary Clinton, and Oscar De La Renta; a two year collaboration with Barneys New York chronicling the creation of their holiday windows; and web series for Kellogg’s, Entertainment Weekly (sponsored by Ford), Mazola, Hellmann’s and Mary Kay.
