We recently completed new brand content work with both NBCU and Time, Inc. We are also moving forward with THE BLEACHING YARD, the much awaited follow-up film by writer-director Mona Fastvold, whose film THE SLEEPWALKER, we produced and premiered at Sundance. At the end of 2017, we brought on Jonathan Blitstein who came onboard as Tandem’s COO and Head of Studios. Julie has known Jonny for more than a decade. He is an independent film producer and creative in his own right, and has most recently led branded video initiatives at both Disney’s Maker Studios, and Sony’s Astronauts Wanted where he was VP Branded Entertainment. Jonny will help develop Tandem’s operations strategy, oversee the fundraising for our 2018-2021 slate of films, source new creative and talent, and help further develop our successful brand content division. His experience ideating and creating original stories for stage and screen, as well as developing influencer video campaigns for brands such as Walmart, Sprint, and Covergirl are a welcome addition to Tandem Pictures.
